**Bonanza Breeder’s Invitational Futurity & Derby
Contractor Reminder:
-This is a reminder checklist for the 2012 Bonanza Breeder’s Invitational W-W
ELITE Team Futurity, Lucchese Youth Futurity & W-W Derby to be held on Saturday,
February 11, 2012 @ the John Justin Arena – Will Rogers Complex – Fort Worth,
Texas.
**VIP NOTE – THE CITY OF FORT WORTH HAS IMPLEMENTED A PARKING FEE AT ALL
FACILITIES IN THE WILL ROGERS COMPLEX!! THERE WILL BE A $5 PER DAY FOR
VEHICLE AND $10 PER DAY PER TRAILER- MULTI-DAY PASSES ARE AVAILABLE
TO PURCHASE IN ADVANCE OR AT THE GATE- BE SURE AND PURCHASE THE PASSES OR THEY
WILL NOT ALLOW IN AND OUT!!

HEALTH
REQUIREMENTS:
All NBBA bulls must have 365 days current
Brucellosis and 365 days current TB Test and 30
days current Health Papers, NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS!! Out of state
bulls need to have a permit # for Trich Requirements and all bulls need
statement on health paper saying “BULLS ARE COMPETITION ONLY NOT FOR SALE”
- REGARDLESS OF CURRENT STATE’S HEALTH REQUIREMENTS THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL
BULLS!!
IF THE BULLS DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER HEALTH
REQUIREMENTS THEY WILL NOT UNLOAD AND WILL FORFEIT ALL ENTRY FEES!!
BULL
HOUSING:
All NBBA Bulls must be housed in pens provided by event management and must be
checked in by 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 10, 2012 NO
EXCEPTIONS!! THERE WILL BE A $100 FINE TO ANYONE WHO IS NOT CHECKED IN BY
2:00 P.M.!! All Team Futurity bulls will pen together in large pipe
pens.
10pm to
6 am NO ONE ALLOWED IN BULL HOUSING AREA, SECURITY WILL BE PRESENT
VIP NOTE
ABOUT SHAVINGS:
Bar F Productions will
provide complimentary shavings for all Team Futurity & Derby bulls housed in
Richardson Bass Pens.
Due to the large number of entries
in the event, in order to accommodate all of the Youth entries received, the
Youth bulls will house in the Burnett pens at Will Rogers, shavings will not
be provided in these pens as all shavings are in the Richardson Bass Pens.
Burnett pens are dirt pens, shavings are available for purchase through Will
Rogers Memorial Center if needed.
HORNS:
All NBBA FUTURITY bulls entered must have their horns tipped to the size
of a QUARTER. Any FUTURITY bull arriving without their
horns tipped to the size of a QUARTER, owner could be subject to a fine
up to $250.00 and the bull WILL BE disqualified and forfeit all entry fees.
NO BULLS WILL BE TIPPED AT THE EVENT!!
All NBBA
DERBY bulls entered must have their horns tipped to the size of a
HALF DOLLAR. Any DERBY bull arriving without their horns tipped
to the size of a HALF DOLLAR, owner could be subject to a fine up to
$250.00 and the bull WILL BE disqualified and forfeit all entry fees. NO
BULLS WILL BE TIPPED AT THE EVENT!!
THIS IS
A BRING YOUR OWN RIDER EVENT, ALL RIDERS MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER.
RIDERS NEED TO BE CHECKED IN BY 6:00 PM OR A RIDER WILL BE ASSIGNED TO YOUR
BULL!!
All
DERBY contractors will receive one behind the chute credential and one companion
pass, additional tickets may be purchased by calling 940-391-8178 or email
barfrodeo@msn.com . In all NBBA Sanctioned W-W Derbies held as
“Bring Your Own Rider” Events, if there are no qualified bull rides during the
performance the Bull Rider Purse will be forwarded to the NBBA and applied to
that Divisions Year End Finals Added Money Purse.

**VIP NOTICE TO ALL NBBA MEMBERS & ENTRANTS
- The NBBA will be Drug Testing at Random events in 2012, the events will NOT be
announced in advance and testing MAY be done at all 2012 NBBA Sanctioned Events.
**The
NBBA prohibits
the use of anabolic steroids, drug masking agents, diuretics and specifically
reserves the right to test, or to allow the event management to test, any bull
at any time using accepted scientific methods in the industry.
Testing expense may result in a minimum lab fee of $30 deducted per entry.
Any entrant of a bull testing positive for anabolic steroids, drug masking
agents, diuretics may be subject to sanctions including forfeiture of any prize
money and accumulated points, expulsion from the NBBA, a minimum fine
amount of $5000 and any other sanctions deemed appropriate at the
discretion of the NBBA Board of Directors. Any animal testing negative but
repeatedly showing high testosterone levels may be subject to additional testing
at the discretion of the NBBA Board of Directors.
**The NBBA defines the following as prohibited “anabolic steroids”:
Boldenone Undecylenate (Equipoise®) ; Stanozolol (Winstrol®); Clenbuterol (Clenbuterol
Hydrochloride); Ventipulmin and any form of Testosterone.
**The NBBA will not tolerate or allow owners to inject any
medication to any bull at an NBBA Sanctioned event. In the event a bull needs
medical attention, the veterinarian on staff will administer the injections from
his or her inventory. Any owner found giving an injection to any bull will face
a minimum fine amount of $250.00 and disqualification of the bull at that event.
