“The National Bucking Bull Association (NBBA) is proud to announce the
sanctioning of the following looksWest Productions events for 2010”,
The Spring Spectacular and the American Breeders Cup, both held in Stephenville,
Texas, will be a part of next year’s NBBA Classic, Derby and Futurity series.
The Spring Spectacular is scheduled for April 2nd and 3rd,
2010.
The Spring Spectacular is an award winning event and will be added to the CBR
Horizon Series in conjunction with the NBBA. looksWest Productions is headed up
by Randy and Amber Schmutz who started the organization in 2005 as a way to
promote genetic programs and breeding in the bucking bred cattle industry,
through bucking bull competitions and live cattle sales. The company has grown
to host the largest events in the system showcasing both bucking bulls and
breeders and offering some of the largest purses available. In 2009 the Spring
Spectacular hosted an unprecedented 255 bulls during it’s two-day competition.
“The NBBA is very excited that looksWEST Productions has chosen to become a part
of our association. We feel this is a way to give our members even more
opportunities to showcase and compete with their bulls. Randy and Amber Schmutz
produce a high quality event that certainly stands up to the high standards of
the NBBA. The Spring Spectacular and the American Breeders Cup will add an
exciting dimension to our 2010 schedule,” stated Marty Foutch, the president of
the NBBA.
