A Few Things to Know about NBBA Futurities..........

At all NBBA Sanctioned Futurities, all money earning bulls plus a reasonable number of alternates will be mouthed by the attending official event veterinarian.  In all NBBA Sanctioned events the official event veterinarians ruling is FINAL AND THERE IS NO APPEALS PROCESS!!!  Once a bull has been MOUTHED AND CLEARED he is exempt from future mandatory mouthing with the NBBA.  However, the NBBA does reserve the right to re-mouth any bull at any time.

**To obtain a copy of the 2008 NBBA mouthing chart, NBBA members may contact the office.

All bulls competing in any NBBA sanctioned event must be ABBI Registered OR DNA Verified through the NBBA.  The bulls are not required to have a registered or DNA'd sire and/or dam.

The NBBA uses a six (6) judge system where the high and low marks are excluded in all NBBA sanctioned events.

The NBBA prohibits the use of anabolic steroids and reserves the right to test, or to allow the event management to test, any bull at any time.

In addition, the NBBA reserves the right to pull DNA on any bull at any time.

All bulls competing in NBBA sanctioned futurity events must have their horns tipped to the size of a quarter.  Any bull arriving at an event without their horns tipped may be fined or face disqualification by the event management.
